Stephen (Steve) Leaden is President and Founder of Leaden Associates, Inc., an Independent Communications and Information Technology consulting firm. Founded in 1990, Steve built this company with a focus on delivering best-in-class solutions for medium-to-large scale, multi-site enterprises with impeccable customer service. With an extensive project management background in voice and data communications, and more than 30 years in the Communications and Information Technology field, Steve’s career originated in voice communications and expanded later into data communications, networks, and cable plant. He honed his management and technology skills at esteemed companies including Vornado, Ticketron, Nabisco, and STI Communications, prior to founding Leaden Associates. He has also worked for several specific industry groups, including healthcare, education, manufacturing, government, and financial services. A native of New York, Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from Marist College.

 

Steve is an industry thought leader, and represents Leaden Associates in a number of external venues. He is a frequent speaker at national vendor and user conferences and trade shows including Enterprise Connect, BC Summit, Information Week, Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Unify Conference, and the Voice Report, among others. He is a contributor and blogger for No Jitter, is recognized as a BC Strategies Expert, and contributes to BCStrategies via weekly podcasts and monthly posts.  Steve is a principal with TelecomUCTraining.com, a successor to BCR Training that provides independent Communications training.  Committed to being an Independent IT Telecommunications consulting firm, Steve is a current board member and past president of the Society of Communications and Technology Consultants, an international ethics-based association that requires ethics and objectivity as a prerequisite for membership.
